Rear brakes...

The rear left side brakes; so far so good...

Actually rusted and seized.

The right side was REALLY painful to remove. The thread on the drum was probably damaged.

Full of fluid.

The line was also rusted and broke very easily.

Obviously, this cylinder needs to be replaced. It can be rebuild, but the bore has to be nice and sometime they leak again.

Interesting design(Look at the brake line)! :oD

Front brakes.

Removed the fenders; ready to open the brakes.

Right side: The drum is OK. The car is pulling to the right, so this is supposed to be the good side...

Fluid leak and small layer of material on the shoes.

The cylinder and pistons are in bad shape.

The left side: Very oily drum, but OK.

As expected, a lot of fluid all over.

The shoes are socked with fluid.

One piston was seized.

Next: the rear brakes...
